No sweep for you!
Dodgers got rocked. Not even gonna post the score. You've already seen it. Hendrickson didn't pitch all that badly. Bats were really quiet until the second half of the game. Maybe it was bad enough for Little to think about changing the 4'th and 5'th starter as I've advocated despite his saying he'll stick with Hendrickson here. Same article a little farther down also notes that Larry Bigbie opted out and is out to test himself as a free agent. He was hitting pretty well in Vegas, I'm sure someone will want him. Not sure why Colletti didn't trade Brady Clark and go with Bigbie, but I'm not the G.M.
To top off the bad night for the Dodgers, Yhency Brazoban seems to have injured himself leaving the blue bullpen a little shallower. Nobody is even talking about when Tsao is due back. Hope it's soon. Maybe it's time to try Johnathan Meloan out and see whether he's ready to get some people out. If not, there's always AAAA+ pitchers at Vegas ready for a shot. Maybe I'll be totally played a fool and they call up Greg Miller despite his well discussed control problems.
The grip on first that the Dodgers have is getting weaker and weaker. Hopefully somebody steps up on the team and gets the blue on another roll. Russell!!!
