Perhaps the most important Series for the Dodgers begins tonight at seven. Perhaps the most important Series for the Dodgers begins tonight at seven. This series is pretty make it or break it for the dodgers post-season chances. Thankfully, the padres have perhaps thrown the dodgers a little gift in starting an inexperienced pitcher in Jack Cassel tonight. But this could also be the dodgers undoing in they don't know what to expect from the guy and proceed to let the rookie go five or six innings into the game without giving up a run. On the flip side everyone knows what to expect from David Wells, so he has to be on his game. I'm going to close my eyes now and on Sunday someone can tell me whether the dodgers' season is over or not.
