One Manny Ripple Effect

Since the second game after the acquisition of Manny I've been thinking how much pressure it has to be in close and late games to have to hit after Manny after he's been pitched around. It was most apparent in last night's loss when the bases were loaded in a tie game with two outs. Loney looked a bit like he wanted to vomit. I'd throw in a little deer in headlights look in there as well. He didn't come through that night and the dodgers ended up losing with Jason Johnson pitching. This new role could mean some major adjustments in Loney's game. I'm sure he's up to the task because he's still hitting well and with great consistency.

So anyways I saw Loney get that hit today after Manny walked and it jogged me to make note of this since it probably will have a little to do in how he further develops.
