How Prepared are those Sox?

Who they miss? Crust Schilling, the not-so-showing-his-age Jason Varitek, the Ellsbury that gets on base

Who they don't miss? Julio-can't-field-his-position-while-not-hitting-Lugo, Manny being Manny, Brandon Moss, Craig Hansen.

Who'd have thought Paul Byrd would be average? More surprisingly, Bartolo Colon is kinda pitching alright...(knock on wood). Who'd have thought Buchholz would forget how to pitch. He'll be back, though. That guy is too talented to go all Rick Ankiel. Time to admit Timlin is kinda done?

The Sox are plenty ready. I think a post-season sans Yankees has got to be a huge emotional boost for the players and the fans. I'd be feeling good if I were a sox fan.

Dodgers have slightly better pitching, though. Especially in the bullpen department
