Kershaw pitched a good game. Dodgers won. The most interesting play of the game was a hard grounder hit at shortstop Angel Berroa found its way into his jersey. He hid the fact once he realized himself that he was feeling the ball through his shirt so that the guy wouldn't run all the way to second. It was frustrating at first to watch what seemed like Berroa quadruple clutching the ball and wondering why he couldn't make the throw after 4 seconds or so. Then come to see he was working on the button of his jersey to finally liberate the ball and everyone had a good laugh about it. The umpire gave both benches a warning after Baek threw a pretty good brush back pitch that was reminiscent of the stuff you see in clips of the '60's. I thought it wasn't warranted as it would have made no sense t hit Manny, and nothing further in the game transpired. The dodgers need to finish off their sweep of the padres tonight. Kuroda pitches against some guy named LeBlanc who hasn't pitched in the minor leagues. He's a lefty who strikes out a lot of guys 3/1 strikeout ratio. If this guy doesn't miss a lot of bats the dodgers are going to have a field day with him. Now onto the Red Sox...
Beckett will be back soon, the sox have a 4-ish game lead in the wild card over the twins and the white sox, the yankees suck,
so things look good for you except for today Dice-K seems to be having a bad day against the orioles...
