One more win to get to the second round.
I really can't remember the dodgers ever sweeping a team in the playoffs. Turns out (thank you baseball-reference.com) they haven't in at least 20 years. In fact, you have to go back to 1963 when the dodgers beat the yankees in four straight to win the world series. 45 years is a long time. So chances are cubs take one before it's all over. I don't want the dodgers too cocky when they face the phillies. Maybe a little humble pie does them some good before the next round (yeah I'm being a bit presumptuous). I don't like the prospect of having to face Cole Hamels (I like Hole Camels better), but every team that makes it to the postseason usually has at least one semi-dominant pitcher. Could be worse in that we'd have to face C.C. Phillies series could be a total crap shoot because the dodgers have murdered the phillies at home but murdered in Philadelphia to touch off an 8 game losing streak in August.
