Win Numero Uno

'Bums win! There wasn't much drama to this game. Lowe was Lowe, except he didn't pitch as well. The dodgers didn't cash in on most of their opportunities, leaving the bases loaded in the second inning. They can't continue to win if they continue to do that junk. It was entertaining to watch Maddux pitch the 9'th.

I'm hoping the Red Sox beat the Angels. I told my brother that today and told him my quickly made up reason. My reasoning is that the angels have had it too easy and have played the last month of the season like they'd already won it all. The red sox look pretty hungry. You have to stay hungry when the yankees are in your division. So anyways now the red sox are up on the television and I won't be dropping so many f bombs.

And it begins with a double by Ellsbury. What is it with the red sox being on television and Ellsbury getting extra base hits?

Enjoy.

Win Numero Uno for my Sox, too. Like John McCain, I predict a Red Sox-Dodgers World Series -- probably the first and last time I'll agree with him on anything.

Any comments on how Torre's new team is in the playoffs and his old team is watching games on TBS?

I liked the idea about Torre/Yanks drama that I posted about it.

dodgers/sox world series scares me. I've dealt with that fear by not examining the possibility. Sox can both hit and pitch. Dodgers can kinda pitch and kinda hit. Ortiz, Pedroia, Dice, and Beckett scare me. We only have Manny. I'm in the position to hope the young players raise their game to compete with the sox. I keep putting off asking puck to go together to the strip and bet on some baseball...
