So I'm Looking at the Active Roster...

and there are only 24 people on it. I look at the 40 man and it's at 39. I also notice Marlon Anderson is on the 51's roster now over here. The 51's also only have 24 players. They called up Wilkin Ruan to take over for Mitch Jones who was shipped off to Japan. This happened a few days ago but Greg "Wild Thing" Miller has been sent down to the Suns to work out his control issues. The blue already have 12 pitchers so I'm going to guess they want an additional position player...

Where is Matt Kemp? Is he in some roster purgatory somewhere? Did he get traded with other mad prospects for Miggy?
No, Matt Kemp is the mystery 25'th man on the Dodgers active and 40 man roster even though he isn't listed on either right now for some reason. There is no extra room to call up anyone to the blue right now without another corresponding move.

Anyways, blue loses again last night wasting a great pitching performance by Lowe. The huge development that I'm sure had saberfans jumping for joy is Juan Pierre's being moved down to the 8'th spot in the batting order. Pierre hasn't been getting it done. The team is losing. Things need to be shaken up. Hopefully Pierre gets it jumping soon and history is on his side as he is historically hottest in July (insert Stevie Wonder pun here).

So here's to the Dodger's lineup. You need more luck than the Dodger pitching right now so do something! Especially you, Russell Martin. You have officially made yourself the heart and soul of this team. Set a fire under your teammates. Especially that Pierre fellow.
