the 2008 mlb.com fantasy baseball preview thingy

check it out over at mlb.com. It's got current players set up in a slide show format and ranked by position and overall with a 1980 Topps card design (I think it's generally considered an ugly set by a lot of people but I really like that design). If you could buy those in the store I think I'd spend money on a box of those. Anyways Russell Martin is the #2 fantasy baseball starting catcher. His combination of power and speed as a catcher I guess is what puts him up there. I though Saito would be ranked a little higher than 8'th as a reliever, but I'm no fantasy baseball expert. Even without knowing much about fantasy baseball, I knew enough not to expect the dodgers to have anybody ranked highly for third base and outfield. Anyways the retro cards were really a joy to go through as well as reading the descriptions and in some cases watching video...(Kershaw's curveball!) so check it out.
