In non-baseball sports news, Brett Favre is still crying about all good things having to come to an end. Maybe he just needs a deal to be the new Viagra spokesman. I hope he swiftly retires from doing press conferences, because he sucks a bit at that. I guess if I made that much money playing a game I'd cry when it's over too. I don't know.
back to baseball, the Sox are back on the bases again with no outs with Casey up to bat in the bottom of the third here.
The Sox just have Lowe teed up like they know exactly what's coming. I think Lowe forgot to take his aderol this morning. Pitching change!
Update 1:30 PM PST
wow...what a back and forth game. The unknowns certainly did drive in some runs. Repko and Lucas May both hit homers in addition to Kemp's earlier solo shot. Repko's bomb was a grand slam. I never figured it'd go down like that. But that's why baseball is great. Poor Meloan couldn't get people out because he had no control. It wasn't a pressure situation either. He let the sox back into the game.
It's a meaningless spring training game, but it was glad to see the dodgers not give up and just let the sox roll over them. Good show.
