So there was almost an ideal lineup yesterday in the 5-0 shutout. It was
Furcal ss
Ethier lf
Kemp rf
Kent 2b
Jones cf
Martin c
Loney 1b
DeWitt 3b
I would have liked Martin batting second better but besides that I couldn't complain much. Tonight's lineup is a bit different :(. It does bat Martin second, but sits Kemp, slides Ethier to right field, and adds good 'ole Juan Pierre batting seventh and playing left field. Kent is strangely the cleanup hitter again. If you're paying a guy 18 million to hit homers or strike out, bat the guy 4'th. I guess they're going to rotate the young good hitters like I mentioned in previous posts until one guy wins the job. Sounds fair to me. Hope the dodgers win tonight. Gonna go see the dodgers play the Pads in San Diego this weekend. Hopefully it's revenge on Peavy this time.
