The dodgers recent play has been disappointing. If I'm disappointed as a casual fan sitting at home watching the games, it must be excruciating for the players. Probably highest on that list would be Furcal and Jones, who were supposed to be the backbone of the team yet are injured. I know this can't last and I'll be insanely happy about the team when they start winning again. Despite the terrible play they are only 4 games back. So I'm going to give my brain a rest and not try to figure out why the dodgers are sucking right now. I'll just brood a bit until things come around, like the economy.

The Dodgers need a bat, a guy who can hit for power. Kent, Kemp, Martin, Loney, and Jones have not been hitting HR's or driving in runs.
You're right. The dodgers have performed horribly with runners on recently. I believe the dodgers are league last as a team in homers and Kent leads the team with only 8 homers. The pitching has been pretty good, but when you don't score any runs the starter and pen keeping the game close won't pay off.
