A Rumor I'm Glad To Hear: Old Mad-Dog Maddux

A rumored move I'm looking forward to the dodgers making is re-acquiring Greg Maddux from the Padres.  I really like Maddux.  The move would bolster the pitching staff if Penny really isn't better when he comes off the DL, pushes the likes of Jason Johnson to the pen, doesn't cost much to acquire because it would basically be the padres doing Greg a favor.  He provides intangible to the pitching staff, especially the younger pitchers, most particularly young Clayton Kershaw.  The story told most by Vin is that Maddux called a game for Brad Penny from the dugout and Penny made one of the best starts in his career.  So anyways, enough gushing about Greg Maddux from me, hopefully it's a done deal tomorrow.
