I forgot to Post Yesterday about Schmidt happening...

In particular, his arm and Torre's comments about it that appear here. I'm glad that it's semi-official instead of the state of denial the dodgers are used to in the past when they messed up with Gagne, Schmidt, and other players. The dodgers are deep enough in starting pitching to start him off on the DL, go slowly with his rehab, which perhaps allows for the emergence of a Kuo or McDonald either in the pen or as starters, depending on whether or not the dodgers allow Loaiza to pitch himself out of a rotation spot, move him, or he himself gets injured.

We'll see how this plays out I guess.
