Ethier Butt Humps DeWitt After Walk-off Single

It was a great comeback win for the blue. DeWitt hit the walk off single that won the game. Afterwards as the team piled onto him Ethier basically butt-humped him with DeWitt bent over at the waist because he was weighed down by a few other teammates. I found it hilarious. Other highlights were Penny who looked pretty bad in the first inning managing to grow a bit stronger as the game went on. He looked really uncomfortable and his fastball was only hitting the 90 mph. Dunn hit a massive homer and Maza only walked up to the on deck circle only to be replaced by that guy that never gets a pinch hit and if he does he gets picked off...Sweeney!

I figured I'd get to skirt the dodgers game last night because of the no-hitter thrown by Lester earlier last night. I'm kinda cautious about the media created feel-good stories about ballplayers overcoming cancer because of what happened to Dave Dravecky. So without hype I'm just going to state that Lester is a great pitcher and hopefully that performance is just a foreshadowing of many great performances to come.
With that out of the way there's more news on the other coast with my team. Andruw Jones' knee is messed up and he may need surgery. So like I said yesterday this is kind of addition by subtraction. Jones clearly isn't playing like himself and perhaps this is the entire answer. Whatever it is, there are no more worries about Ethier being benched for no particularly good reason. This may also lead to the crack in the roster the Roach has been waiting for.

Oh and Gary Bennett admitted to the LA Daily news that he basically sucks.
